This is not my best performance, because I caught a flu 6 days ago, and it is effecting my voice a lot. It was a very fun experience to learn a new language by singing, and I did enjoy this a lot.
I really recommend this app to my friends, because it is a great app that guides you through the singing, and there are more than 60 million of active users everyday. It provides you variety of songs to sing, including in different languages.
There are multi kinds of ways to interact with you friends, such as challenge their highest score, singing together at the same time or different time, giving out awards, watch different music videos that are created by friends or singers, follow your favorite singers or friends and many more functions.
Throughout the three weeks of learning, I have understand the basics of Cantonese, and I have also learnt my first Cantonese song, and I am ready to present it to my parents when I get back to Beijing during the summer.
The master project taught me not just simply one Cantonese song, it taught me how to record and reflect on something that you will or currently learning. By looking at my classmates’ master project helped me to come up with some new ideas that I want to try in the future. For example, I really like Preston’s master project. It seems to be easy to wake up at 5:30 AM everyday, but it is actually extremely hard to do in the long-term. Waking up early in the morning is such a great habit, and it is a life long habit that can bring so many advantages and benefits to your life in the future.
As conclusion, this is the ending of my master project for EDUC 283, but there are many more to learn in life, and I am ready to challenge myself, and further my footsteps on completing one milestone after another.
At the end, I want to thank Professor Levinson to provide us such a great opportunity to step out of our life and see the social media more than we thought, and it is nice to know each other!
